 Myasthenia Gravis

yasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease possibly caused by the production of antibodies in the body. These antibodies attack the acetylcholine receptors between nerves and muscles, causing the transmission of signals from the nerves to be blocked. This results in sudden paralysis or loss of muscular strength.

The symptoms of outbreaks of myasthenia gravis include double vision, droopy eyelids, weakness of the limbs, and difficulty swallowing. It may cause the patient to stop breathing, threatening life.
